At the age of 19, and a freshman in college I received news that my mother was diagnosed with cancer. It was about a month later, that she passed away. About a year later, a fellow co-worker invited me to her church. I started attending and began to see God working in my heart. In July 1998, I attended a Promise Keepers event in Philadelphia. It was there that I accepted Christ into my life as my Lord and Savior. It was listening to the Godly speakers I realized I need to not only “know” the Jesus they were talking about, but BELIEVE in the need for a Savior. It was at Promise Keepers I first heard about the true Jesus and His love for me. Shortly after I became saved my father was diagnosed with cancer and six months later my father passed away. So in a little less than two years, both of my parents had passed away. The passing of my mother and father was devastating. The difference between the two was that when my dad passed, I had Jesus and Godly men to help me through.
In 1999, I felt the call to ministry. I enrolled full time at Cairn University as a Biblical Studies major. I graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biblical Studies Degree. In 2008, I received my Masters of Science in Bible.
While attending Cairn University, I met my wife Becky. We have two daughters, Bella born in 2008, and Lizzie born in 2013. In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family as well as being outdoors. I also have a passion for sports. My favorite teams include the Duke Blue Devils, and the Penn State Nittany Lions. My family and I reside in Central Pennsylvania.
I have a heart and passion to see lives transformed by Christ and a passion to see them live and grow in Him. I desire to create and nurture a culture where people desire to seek, follow, and serve Christ. I have used my love for sports to reach people all over the world serving with Push the Rock Ministries. I have also been involved with our local school district, serving with CD impact.
